The FMB Network is founded by Health & Performance Coach, masters' track and field national champ, and Mental Wealth Show host, Rich Jones.
In July 2020, Rich quit alcohol after quietly struggling most of his adult life. To celebrate one year free from alcohol, he committed to getting back into track and field after 15+ years off.
Less than two months later, he took a mental health leave from work due to ongoing panic attacks. During the time off, he learned he'd lived most of his life with complex PTSD. This marked the beginning of his mental and emotional healing journey, including a new type of therapy to address traumatic memories (EMDR).
In 2022, Rich became a Certified Wellness Coach (NASM-CWC) after seeing the value of coaching as a client. He then went on to win gold in his age group in the triple jump at the US Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships that summer. He'd follow that up with another gold in March 2023 at the indoor championships, but this time in the long jump...a day after he turned 40.
His story is a remarkable example of what's possible when you commit to doing the work and living in alignment. Rich leverages insights from 15 years in human resources and 5+ years in personal finance media to connect the dots between work, money, life, and holistic health. People who've heard him speak or listened to his podcast often comment on his vulnerability and candor in expressing what many of us think but don't say.
